I started young in secretarial/medical assistant work, where at age 15, I worked through a summer to relieve the secretary for an Ear, Nose, and Throat Specialist. During business college, I worked as head secretary and medical assistant for a Chiropractor, where I answered phones, made appointments, did light bookkeeping, and performed heat/gel ultrasound. I loved small office work, the kindness of the doctors, and enjoying clients.
My middle-aged years were happily spent raising 3 children, camping/backpacking, volunteering for many community needs and for my kids’s schools. In addition, I ran a licensed, home-based daycare for young children and at night, worked part-time waitressing in fancy, oceanfront restaurants. I look back and wonder how I did it all, and each endeavor was done to perfection. The best part was having kiddos! In my 40’s, I ventured into self-employment where, for 12 years, I performed my one~girl, licensed In-Home Care and Housekeeping Biz. I later changed my business license, and in 2022 and 2023, I performed 24-hour crisis help, and so I’m quite experienced for all kinds of customer needs. I can handle high stress environments and know how to communicate efficiently. During the same period of time, my home-based license covered management of my small housekeeping and yardwork business named “The Helpful Home Honey” where my workers helped homeowners. I managed phone calls, scheduled appointments, communicated efficiently with Homeowners and Workers, and handled payroll.
In addition to these jobs, I remodeled multiple homes where I hired contractors and handymen, drafted building plans, obtained permits, scheduled work to be performed and oversaw all accomplishments. Remodeling a home while living in it, with lots of changes and workers, is a big project! I know what it takes to see plans through start to finish.
I’m very gifted at communication and organization, but don’t just take my honest word for it… TRY ONE WEEK OF SERVICE FOR FREE
